Before launching NB Candles, we were known as NB Crafts & Sweetz. We are a Surrey-based business specialising in candles, wax melts and personalised gifts.
I spent years working demanding shifts as a waitress at my local international airport. With 4am starts and 11pm finishes, I had little time for my children. After my divorce, balancing long hours and single parenthood became overwhelming, and I realised something had to change.
I made the bold decision to resign and explore working from home opportunities. Then a simple question shifted everything: why build someone else’s dream when I could build my own? With that leap of faith NB Crafts & Sweetz was born but now NB Candles — rooted in creativity, love, and the desire to create a better future for my children.
What began as a small vision is now a growing business, from showcasing handcrafted luxury hampers and personalised frames at local markets to serving customers across the UK through our online shop.
